Read Luke 22:47-48. This has been called the lowest act of treachery ever recorded because Judas betrayed his Teacher and Friend with a kiss. It was stated that Judas was doing the exact opposite with this action as what it was intended for. It was also mentioned that this is what ‘sin’ is like. How is this like sin? Discuss what the following quote means: “Sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay.

Read Luke 22:49-58. What are two ways following Jesus ‘at a distance’ can be dangerous to a person’s spiritual walk.
